Agreement.

These terms are an agreement between you and Knox Esports LLC (“Knox”, “we”), 108 N Peters Road, Knoxville, TN 37923. By using this website, or booking or buying anything on it, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy, Refunds & Cancellations and Rules & Conduct are part of these terms.

You must be 18 or older to book or buy on this website. Parents and guardians make bookings for children and are responsible for them.

Using this website.

• Use the website only for lawful purposes, and only to book, buy or find information for yourself, your family or your group.
• Don’t try to disrupt the website, get around its limits (such as party holds or the free-trial limits), see other people’s information, or copy data from it with automated tools.
• Give accurate information when you book or buy.

We may refuse or cancel a booking or order, or block access to the website, if these terms are broken. If we cancel something you’ve paid for, we’ll refund it.

Signing in.

The Login page signs you in with a one-time code sent to your email. Keep your email account secure: anyone who can read your codes can sign in as you. Tell us right away if you think someone else has used your sign-in.

Prices and payment.

• Prices are in US dollars and can change. You pay the price shown when you check out.
• Sales tax is added where it applies.
• Payments are processed by Square, under Square’s terms. We never see or store your full card number.
• If a price is clearly wrong because of a mistake, we may cancel the order and refund you, even after you’ve paid.

Memberships.

Memberships (Esports Gaming, Social and Study Hall) renew every month until you cancel. Prices and benefits are on the Play and Education pages.

• Billing. When you join, you pay for the rest of the current month. After that, the full monthly price is charged on the 1st of every month. By joining, you authorize Knox to charge the card you joined with on the 1st of each month until you cancel.
• Card on file. Square keeps your card on file for monthly billing. Online, memberships take cards only, because Apple Pay and Google Pay can’t be kept on file.
• Cancelling. Cancel anytime on the Login page with Cancel membership, or at the front desk. Your membership runs to the end of the month you’ve already paid for, and nothing is billed from the 1st after you cancel. Part months aren’t refunded.
• Price changes. We’ll tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your membership, so you can cancel first if you want to.
• Failed payments. If a monthly payment fails, Square emails you the unpaid bill, and your membership is paused until it’s paid.
• Using it. A membership is for one person and can’t be shared or transferred. Unlimited esports gaming may be limited for a while during large events such as tournaments.
• Study Hall. Members sign each student up for each Tuesday on the Login page, and seats are limited. Two no-shows in 30 days pause online sign-up until staff mark one excused.

Bookings.

Birthday parties

• Book online at least 48 hours ahead. For anything sooner, call us.
• While you pay, the time is held for 15 minutes. If payment isn’t finished by then, the time is released.
• Your party is booked when payment is complete and you receive a confirmation email.
• Groups of 11 or more need the 20-player party.
• If a payment arrives after the hold has lapsed and someone else has booked the time, we’ll call you to find another time or refund you in full.

Math Lab tutoring

Sessions are bought in advance (one at a time, or in packs of 5 or 10) and booked on the Login page. Sessions expire 12 months after purchase and can’t be refunded. Cancel at least 72 hours ahead and the session goes back on your account. Later than that, it counts as used.

Free iCode trial classes

One free trial per child, and up to 3 per family. Online booking opens 8 weeks ahead and closes 2 hours before class. If you can’t come, cancel from your confirmation page so another child can have the seat.

Card and supply orders.

• We ship to the lower 48 states and Washington, DC only, for a flat $9.99 Shipping & Handling. Orders usually ship the same or next business day.
• Pickup orders wait at the front desk for 14 days. After that, they’re refunded less a 20% restocking fee.
• Stock is limited. If an item turns out to be unavailable after you’ve paid, we’ll refund it.

Gift cards.

Gift cards are sold and delivered by Square, on Square’s gift card page, under Square’s terms. They never expire and are spent at the front desk. To use one for a party, call us or ask at the desk and we’ll book it with you. Gift cards can’t be exchanged for cash, except where the law requires it.

Visiting Knox.

• Our Rules & Conduct apply to everyone in the building and at our events.
• Knox may photograph or film events for its website and social media. If you’d rather not appear, or your child shouldn’t, tell staff.

Content on this website.

The Knox Esports, iCode and Math Lab names and logos, and the words, design and photos on this website, belong to Knox or the people who license them to us. Game names and artwork belong to their publishers and are shown to describe the games we offer. Please don’t copy or reuse any of it without permission.

Other companies’ services.

Parts of this website are provided by other companies, including Square (payments and gift cards) and Google (maps). Their own terms apply to their services, and we’re not responsible for them.

Our responsibility.

We work to keep this website accurate and working, but we provide it “as is” and can’t promise it will always be free of errors or interruptions. As far as the law allows, Knox isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the website, and our total liability for a claim about something you bought on it is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law that can’t be taken away.

Disputes.

These terms are governed by the laws of Tennessee. If something goes wrong, please call us first: most problems can be put right quickly. If not, disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts for Knox County, Tennessee.

Changes to these terms.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and changes apply to bookings and purchases made after that date.
